Greetings,
Just thought I'd drop you a quick note to tell you how much I enjoy my lessons. I feel that I am growing spiritually at a tremendous rate. Thank you.
I have spoken so highly of your lessons, I have two ladies who would like to enroll in your lessons.
Thank you again and God bless you. LK Texas Prison

Jack,
Here are four more Bible studies, please send me four or more studies, I'm ready for them. Last night ___ and I sat down and he explained the new city of Jerusalem and what he thought, very interesting. We have prayer almost every night now and I say my own prayers too. I thank you very much for being part of my life, and your studies are very uplifting to me.
      Thank you HF Oregon Prison

Dear Jack,
In the name of Jesus, I hope that all is well. I want to thank you all for the lessons you've sent, and hope that they will continue. At this time I want to make a request in the name of the Son Jesus Christ. Would you send the Gospel Workers Bible study to my brother in Christ. Thank you for your time and patience, in Jesus' precious name I pray for you and the staff of Gospel Workers Ministry.
       Your brother FG

Hello,
Thank you for the Bible study. I really did enjoy it. Could you please send me a Bible? How many lessons are in this course? And will there be a certificate issued upon completion? Not that it really matters, just want to know. God bless and keep you all.
       Your brother FD

Dear Gospel Workers,
Thank you for responding so quickly to my letter. I was actually quite surprised that you took the time to respond with a personal letter, answering my questions.
I have found that having close communion with God can be an overwhelming relief, and in doing your studies, they introduce me to some of the comforting words of God. I have not read the entire Bible yet. Although it is not something you just read through, especially the book of Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and some of the prophets. Reading the Bible, in my opinion, is not something that you can read once then put down. It is something that you should read throughout your life.
As you mentioned, the battle against self is the greatest ever fought. I constantly try to keep impure thoughts out of my head, and when they do enter, not to entertain them.
Along these lines, I want to ask your opinion (unless Scriptures makes a specific reference). I like to read books, mainly adventure novels, (i.e. detective and drama books). What are your feelings on that? One thing about my situation is this; I spend most of the day sitting inside my cell with not much in the way of entertainment. Should I consider all books (other than the Bible and Christian literature) vain and superfluous, and cast them to the side? I will appreciate your godly advice.
Please continue in your missionary work. To the people you help to see the light, it makes a seemingly bleak existence more meaningful.
       In Christ, BW Texas
