John 14:1-3: "Let not your heart be troubled:
ye helieve in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if
it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go
and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also."
Matthew 26:64: "Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast
said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on
the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."
Revelation 16:13-14: "And I saw three unclean
spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the
beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils,
working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world,
to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."

and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness he doth judge and make war."

in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations:
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the
fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."
Jude 14-15: ". . . Behold, the Lord cometh with
ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that
are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed,
and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."
2 Peter 3:7, 10: "But the heavens and the earth,
which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day
of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. . . . But the day of the Lord will come as
a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are
therein shall be burned up."
Matthew 24:24-27: "For there shall arise false
Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that,
if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth:
behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out
of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of
man be."

hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to
pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in
divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall
there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay
their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into
prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not
to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom,
which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents,
and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put
to death.

At Jesus' resurrection there was just one angel who came to roll away the stone
from His tomb, and the guards fell down like dead men.
Matthew 28:1-4 "In the end of the sabbath, as it
began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary
to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the
Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat
upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for
fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men."
At the time of Jesus' second coming, He is coming will ALL His holy angels as noted in

In Old Testament times God's glory was manifested and veiled by a cloud.

unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the
wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud."

Numbers 11:25 "And the LORD came down in a cloud,
and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the

prophesied, and did not cease."
2 Chronicles 5:13 "It came even to pass, as the
trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and
thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals
and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy
endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the
LORD;"
At the time of Jesus' transfiguration a cloud overshadowed Him and God spoke from the
cloud.
Matthew 17:1-5 "And after six days Jesus taketh
Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment
was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking
with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be
here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for
Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed
them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom
I am well pleased; hear ye him."
Revelation 6:16-17: "And said to the mountains

destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he

It is important to note that when Jesus returns to gather His children His feet
will not touch the earth, but we will be "caught up . . . to meet the Lord in the air".

shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must
put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this
corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on
immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is
swallowed up in victory."

May you be among those who say, "Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us." Isaiah 25:9.
"Soon there appears in the east a small black cloud, about half the size of a man's hand. It is the cloud which surrounds the Saviour and which seems in the distance to be shrouded in darkness. The people of God know this to be the sign of the Son of man. In solemn silence they gaze upon it as it draws nearer the earth, becoming lighter and more glorious, until it is a great white cloud, its base a glory like consuming fire, and above it the rainbow of the covenant. Jesus rides forth, as a mighty conqueror. Not now a 'Man of Sorrows,' to drink the bitter cup of shame and woe, He comes, victor in heaven and earth, to judge the living and the dead. 'Faithful and True,' 'in righteousness He doth judge and make war.' And 'the armies which were in heaven' (Revelation 19:11, 14) follow Him. With anthems of celestial melody the holy angels, a vast, unnumbered throng, attend Him on His way. The firmament seems filled with radiant forms--'ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.' No human pen can portray the scene; no mortal mind is adequate to conceive its splendor. 'His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise. And His brightness was as the light.' Habakkuk 3:3-4. As the living cloud comes still nearer, every eye beholds the Prince of life. No crown of thorns now mars that sacred head; but a diadem of glory rests on His holy brow. His countenance outshines the dazzling brightness of the noonday sun. 'And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King of kings, and lord of lords.' Revelation 19:16."
